Our goal is clear.
We want to deliver news and information about Brooklyn's Chinatown and its community to you.
8th Avenue is what most Chinese residents affectionately call this place as it is conveniently located near the 8th Ave train station on 62nd street. As you wander down this avenue, you may find exotic foods, ethnic restaurants, fun gift shops, fish markets and a blast of raw Chinese culture. The businesses here are less mainstream than other chinatowns which may make communication harder for those who do not speak the community's main Chinese dialects: Fuzhounese, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Hopefully, this blog will provide the community as well as those interested with a better understanding of Chinese Culture and the Community itself.
